The setup for this title was influenced with a cinematic style. When we first open this book, we are greeted by the half-title . . . A Bronx sky . . .
BEHIND-THE-SCENES
As we settle into the title-page spread, we now view The Bronx skyline. Texture seen on the title logo would be altered/customized for each part-title and chapter opener.
BEHIND-THE-SCENES
For each first paragraph and space break paragraph, a custom style to the first few words were set. But, these too were customized and did not rely on automatic style settings. Depending on the rhythm of the opening sentence would dictate a range of two to five words.
BEHIND-THE-SCENES
Specific details were applied throughout including first paragraph stylings, and folio screen opacity. All these decisions were made to liven up the page, and enhance an enjoyable reading experience for the audience.
